Full-Time Software Test Position Available
Dawning Technologies, Inc., an electronic design and manufacturing company, is seeking a Software Test Engineer for our expanding operations in Fort Myers, Florida. This position requires a four-year degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or relevant work experience.The ideal candidate for this position should have the following skills:
· Knowledge of Object Oriented Design, design patterns and testing techniques using Java SE. Java EE knowledge helpful.
· Knowledge of JUnit, Ant, and other testing strategies
· Knowledge of good database design techniques and the ability to interface them using Hibernate, POJOs, and JDBC connections
· A good understanding of data communication techniques
· A working knowledge of Linux
· Excellent writing skills
· Experience with design control quality systems
The primary responsibilities of the position will be to support the development, testing and release of software used in medical device connectivity as well as developing test plans and testing strategies for those systems. The position will require considerable documentation development related to requirements specifications, test plans and product design history.

Full-Time Interface Software Engineer Position Available
Dawning Technologies, Inc., an electronic design and manufacturing company primarily active in the medical market, is seeking a Software Engineer for our expanding operations in Fort Myers, Florida. This position requires a four-year degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and relevant work experience.
The ideal candidate for this position should have the following skills:
· Excellent knowledge Object Oriented Design, design patterns and testing techniques using Java SE.
· Excellent knowledge of data communication protocols, System-to-System connections, HIS, LIS, and analyzer implementation and troubleshooting experience. Experience in data acquisition of sensors and ad-hoc networks could be easily cross-trained
· Knowledge of JUnit, Ant, and other testing strategies helpful
· Experience in ISO 9001, 21 CFR 820, or other Good Manufacturing Procedures very helpful
· A working knowledge of Linux
· Basic Knowledge of Medical Information Systems a plus
The primary responsibilities of the position will be to aid in the development, testing and release of software used in medical device connectivity. The position would be generally responsible for the implementation of new communication protocols within Dawning’s existing software library. The position would be involved in all aspects of the software life-cycle. Additional responsibilities would include taking an active role in the design of new technologies or features to be used in our ever-growing product portfolio.
