JResultNet Rules Development KitTM
The JResultNet Middleware Rules Development KitTM (RDK) is a new and unique toolset for developing, testing and validating laboratory middleware rules. The JResultNet Rules Development Kit can be used within JResultNet or offline, on a separate PC from the running middleware application. Used offline, the RDK eliminates the risks of disrupting workflow when working with rules directly on the active middleware application, and the inconveniences of having to schedule rules development when the lab and its middleware application are least busy. Middleware rules can now be developed and tested at your convenience until their operation is as desired, then loaded into the running middleware system at your convenience, taking only a short time to load the new rules package.
The JResultNet Rules Development Kit contains two unique rules development tools - a Rules Wizard and a Rules Calculator. The Wizard is intended for development of repetitive, similar rules such as range based rules or general comparison rules. In either case, these rules can include adding comments, flags or reformatting results. The Rules Calculator can be used for developing more complex rules such as those using nested IF conditions or compound actions.
